FENC has supported the development of domestic culture
FENC firmly believes that cultural literacy is a vital foundation and driving force for national development. By sponsoring non-governmental organizations, art and cultural activities, as well as domestic video streaming platforms through its foundation and subsidiaries, FENC has contributed more than NTD 20 million to fulfill its responsibility of strengthening the cultural influence. The methods of support and their outcomes are disclosed as follows:
Sponsoring various art and cultural activities through the Far Eastern Memorial Foundation
Through “The Far Eastern Memorial Foundation,” more than NTD 5 million was invested in 2024 to support various art and cultural activities. Key sponsorships are outlined below:

Harvard-YZU A Cappella Concert | 0.3 | Sponsoring activities jointly organized by YZU Art Center and Harvard University’s The Radcliffe Pitches A Cappella choir, aiming to expand students’ global perspectives, spark interest in music and culture among youth, and showcase the unique charm of A Cappella through multilingual performances. |
Promoting film and television culture through subsidiaries
Through its subsidiaries "friDay Video" and "Mission International," a total investment of approximately NTD 16 million was made in 2024 to support Taiwanese original content and international collaborations. Notable projects include Taiwan's largest international cast reality show, "What a Trip", the world's first one-shot horror suspense film, "Night Asphyxiation", and the Taiwan-Macau co-produced film, "We Wish", all of which are scheduled to be released gradually after 2025.
In addition, the 2024 film investment, "Seishun 18x2 TW: The Journey to You", was nominated for four Golden Horse Awards, earned over NTD 560 million at the box office, and garnered significant international attention.
