Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) Green Materials was awarded the Outstanding Resource Recycling Enterprise in 2023

On December 1, 2023, the Resource and Recycling Agency of the Ministry of Environment held the "Resource and Recycling Outstanding Enterprises" award ceremony. Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) Green Material Kuanyin Plant 2 recycled PET plastic bottle bricks and bottle sheets to produce recycled plastic rPET, and produced derived waste into solid recycled fuel (SRF), winning the "Resource and Recycling Group Silver Award". Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) Green Materials is the first enterprise in Taiwan to focus on the recycling and reuse of PET bottles. It continues to develop technology and promote recycled economy, reducing a total of 1400 tons of carbon dioxide emissions in 2022 and saving the company over NTD 20 million in waste treatment fees.
