The Far Eastern Distribution Center, strategically located near the Wugu Interchange and adjacent to Wugu Industrial Park (New Taipei Industrial Park), benefits from proximity to key consumer markets in Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan. This prime location enhances logistics efficiency, enabling rapid delivery services for the e-commerce industry in the Greater Taipei area.
In addition to supporting the Group’s B2B and B2C warehousing and logistics operations, the center functions as a next-generation smart logistics hub. It offers professional third-party logistics services capable of swiftly responding to both physical retail and e-commerce demands. The center is dedicated to helping brands expand market reach and increase member penetration. Through streamlined operational processes, it also reinforces short-chain logistics and rapid delivery capabilities, providing clients with a wide range of integrated warehousing and logistics solutions.
The Far Eastern Distribution Center is a modern steel-structured facility with a 12m x 12m span, purpose-built to meet the demands of a next-generation smart logistics center. The design incorporates sustainable smart technologies alongside a comprehensive fire protection and safety management system. A central control and operations monitoring room enables real-time energy management and advanced fire and smoke detection, establishing a smart factory environment that prioritizes both safety and operational efficiency.
The main building received its usage license in January 2025 and is on track to achieve the Green Building Silver Level certification, having already secured the Green Building Candidate Certificate. Upon completion, the structure’s clean, white architectural style became a striking landmark within the logistics hub along the highway, reflecting both innovation and environmental responsibility.
The Far Eastern Distribution Center was developed and constructed by Far Eastern Resources Development Co., Ltd., and will be leased to Arcoa Communication Co., Ltd. (Arcoa) for future operations. Arcoa, a key subsidiary under Far EasTone Telecommunications, leverages the parent company’s strengths in information and communication technology to deliver high-efficiency warehousing services, top-tier customer experiences, and flexible, certified logistics solutions that support diverse business models.
Arcoa has built a stable and resilient logistics platform by integrating new equipment and advanced operational processes, placing human-machine collaboration at the core of its operational philosophy. The facility is outfitted with an automated warehousing system, smart sorting lines, and automatic conveyor belts to significantly enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the deployment of Far EasTone’s 5G private network ensures high-speed, reliable data transmission, while FETC International’s smart license plate recognition system boosts vehicle dispatch speed and accuracy.
