Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology launches sustainable and innovative research and development capabilities, opening up new horizons for technology and vocational education

The 7th Taiwan Textile Research Paper Publication Conference 2025, co hosted by Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology and the Textile Industry Integrated R&D Center, was held on May 24th. It gathered 19 colleges, universities, and research units across Taiwan, with a total of 136 papers included, showcasing the research and development capabilities of the textile field in material innovation, process optimization, and sustainability development.
The Department of Electrical Engineering also held the "2025 Taiwan High School and Vocational Electrical Creative Application Special Competition", attracting over 200 high school and vocational students to participate. Principal Huang Maoquan personally delivered a speech. This competition is fiercely competitive, with diverse entries divided into three groups: motor creativity, automation creativity, and information communication creativity. It not only showcases students' rich creativity and practical abilities, but also promotes exchanges and observation among schools, encouraging students to explore the field of motors and understand the teaching characteristics and learning environment of the motor department.
From May 19th to June 30th, Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology and New Taipei Advanced Industrial Vocational School jointly held the "Cross Domain and Cross Encounter" teacher-student creative exhibition, symbolizing the two schools crossing the boundaries between different fields and technical high schools and science and technology universities, providing a platform for technical and vocational students to explore their potential.
The New Taipei 2025 Campus Employment Expo was held on May 15th at Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology, inviting 36 companies to release over 1600 job vacancies, including Far Eastern Group affiliated enterprises such as Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) and FE SOGO Department stores, with a matching rate of 50.2%. Principal Huang Maoquan encourages students to embrace the trend of AI technology and actively adapt to the future.
