In October 2022, 98 students and faculty members from the Department of Textiles and Clothing of Fu Ren Catholic University visited Hukou Mill. They were received by 20 representatives of Hukou Mill and led on a tour through the textile production system.  

The tour began with cotton, the raw material, and moved on to rinsing, combing and drawing to arrive at the finished product, spun yarn. This highly technical process was put in layman’s terms to help the students understand the craft of textile making.
