Starting in 2023, FEPV’s polyester plant increased bulk bag capacity for polyester chips from 1,100 kilograms to 1,150 kilograms. In 2024, this reduced bag use by 4.35%, lowered delivery frequency, and cut subcontracting costs. These adjustments delivered environmental benefits and saved USD 952,126 (NT$28.7 million) without additional investment, demonstrating packaging choice and transport efficiency considerations in product development.
