Oriental Union Chemical Corporation attends TRCA annual meeting to deepen commitment to responsible care
On April 16-17, Oriental Union Chemical Corporation participated in the "2025 Conference and Responsible Care Management Seminar" organized by the Taiwan Responsible Care Association (TRCA) in the chemical industry. Representatives from the industry, government, and academia discussed topics such as the carbon fee system and net zero transformation in the chemical industry, demonstrating the importance of sustainability issues.
The discussion on carbon fee system and supply chain cooperation for carbon reduction in the seminar has attracted high attention. Oriental Union Chemical Corporation stated that facing the challenges of carbon pricing and emission control, companies need to shift from risk thinking to innovative opportunities, and achieve a balance between environmental protection and competitiveness through data-driven intelligent management and cross-border cooperation. In addition, Oriental Union Chemical Corporation is also concerned about the increasingly strict international regulation of perfluorinated/polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and actively evaluates alternative raw materials and process optimization solutions to comply with regulatory requirements. Through this annual meeting and exchange, Oriental Union Chemical Corporation has once again strengthened its role in the international chemical industry. In the future, it will continue to work together with TRCA and industry partners to promote Taiwan's chemical industry towards higher standards of sustainable governance goals.
