Wuxi Child Welfare Center was built in March 2022. In today’s society, most children are raised in the asphalt jungle. To bring them closer to nature, FEIW decided to donate a sky farm to be built on the rooftop of the educational building, so that the children at the center get to experience nature, gardening and agriculture.

FEIW solicited the help of a professional team for the planning and design of the sky farm. The handover ceremony was held at the center on May 30, which was towards the end of the preparation stage. Construction began in July. Amid the scorching heat, the design staff and workers had to overcome additional challenges posed by the pandemic restrictions. Two months later, their hard work finally paid off. On September 8, the sky farm was completed.
