The third session of the Committee was appointed by the Board of Directors on August 7, 2024. The three members possess the expertise and competencies required for the Committee, including corporate governance, business strategy planning, corporate risk management, supply chain management, energy strategy, and non-profit organization operation.

A total of four meetings were held in 2025 (dates listed in the table below). Humphrey Cheng, President of Corporate Management and Convener of the Sustainability Implementation Committee, reported to the three members on the company’s sustainable development progress, ESG project execution, and performance.

Environmental Projects: Publishing the 2024 TCFD/TNFD Report; GHG inventory and verification progress; carbon reduction action plans; developing high-value, low-carbon, eco-friendly polyester materials; commercializing chemical recycling technology for waste fabrics; and developing waste recycling through cross-industry alliances.

Social Projects: Participating in the SDG ASIA EXPO; executing sustainable supply chain programs; strengthening workplace health and safety management; implementing environmental education courses and optimizing exhibition content; perfecting employee career planning; and engaging in ESG dialogues with various stakeholders.

Governance Projects: Publishing the 2024 Sustainability Report; adopting the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards; planning the expansion of recycled polyester (rPET) production capacity; promoting sustainable finance; enhancing AI usage management; and improving sustainability awareness and stakeholder communication.

All resolutions were approved by all members present. The Committee Convener, Independent Director Sy-Ming Guu, reported the results of the meetings to the Board of Directors on March 12, May 9, August 8, and November 7, 2025.
