FEPV collaborated with AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. (AEON) on a PET bottle recycling project in 2022. The plant transformed the PET bottles recycled by AEON into rPET to be looped back into a new production cycle. In May, FEPV was invited to the World Environmental Day Event held by AEON, during which the plant interacted with the audience through lectures, games and exhibition. FEPV shared the PET bottle recycling and reproduction process as well as its recycling technology, helping the public acquire proper recycling knowledge and learn the correct way to recycle. The plant provided 4,200 pairs of socks made of recycled PET bottles as gifts for those who recycled ten PET bottles, giving them instant and substantial gratification for recycling. The event drew nearly 10,000 participants, and 21,380 PET bottles were collected, demonstrating a successful partnership between FEPV and its stakeholder, which has planted the seeds of recycling through environmental education.
